Who We Are

The visionary behind N6 Properties is Founder Diarmaid McGregor. His ability to see the possibility of a property began during his days as an apprentice carpenter in Ireland. Diarmaid came to the US to bring this vision of thoughtful, sophisticated design to single-family and multi-family homes in Boston. That focus evolved into the creation of urban mid-rise developments that exemplify upscale yet affordable city living within Boston’s great neighborhoods.

Today, N6 Properties is an independent company that employs teams of local contractors, design and construction professionals who share those core values and commitment to impeccable design and craftsmanship. Those values apply to how we manage our properties. Communal areas are impeccably kept. Regular landscaping and exterior maintenance sustain the original pristine appearance of each building.We are attentive and mindful of the needs of our tenants.

What We Do

In the Boston market, you find your share of vacant lots and underdeveloped properties.
At N6 Properties, we seek out those locations, review key characteristics and criteria. Then comes the critical question, is there an opportunity to create stylish and functional, sophisticated and
affordable urban residential and mixed use space? Will such a development start or continue revitalization of that community?

In the early years, we applied our vision to single- and multi-family homes. Today, our primary focus is transforming underutilized properties into mid-rise residential/mixed communities. Our
properties, through careful planning, thoughtful design and eventual management, become community assets that blend and enhance the character of an area or neighborhood.

N6 Properties specializes in urban, middle-market development projects. We see the possibility in properties in areas that might be an afterthought for other investors. We carry that same creativity to develop a foundation—financing, community outreach, skilled trades—that can make that vision come to life.

With those boxes checked, we begin conversations with the community, local officials, banks, designers, contractors and other parties to devise a strategy for transforming what was an underutilized lot or building into a carefully planned community that embraces both its residents and the area
